The Role

This is a rare opportunity for a motivated self-starter to be part of building a new global brand.

The Sales Manager is a key point of contact for the travel trade - building successful new partnerships, and maintaining existing relationships. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure that all sales goals are met or exceeded.

Our ideal candidate has extensive industry contacts and has a strong understanding of the international tour and travel market. The role reports to the Director of Sales.


Cultivating new & existing business via sales calls and office visits. Initiating, maintaining and negotiating contracts with tour operators and 'receptive operators'. Handling incoming inquiries in a timely manner and converting to sales. Providing the highest level of customer service to all clients. Utilizing our ticketing system to make and update group reservations. Tracking all client relations through our CRM and periodic database cleanup. Attending trade shows as needed. Communicating in a timely, efficient and professional manner both internally and externally. Serving as point of contact between ticket office & group sales. Achieving and exceeding monthly sales goals. Hosting site inspections. Creating packages & partnerships with partners. Maintaining and cultivating relationships with NYC & Co and other membership organizations. Representing SPYSCAPE positively and proactively to the travel trade. Efficient and effective allocation of resources in development of new business partnerships, in line with overall sales strategy.

The Sales Manager will also need to travel from time to time to various trade shows and have a flexible schedule. As a Sales Manager, you will need to attend various evening networking events and travel and/or work occasional weekends.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Requirements

The successful applicant will have a strong track record of successful sales experience in the hospitality industry, >3-5 years sales experience in a fast-paced work environment.
